Prescription Requests

We understand that once your treatment plan is established, you may occasionally require a repeat prescription between appointments.

To make this process convenient and efficient, we offer patients the option to request a repeat prescription online. Depending on your circumstances, you may either request a repeat without an appointment or book a brief telehealth review with Dr Thomas.

All prescription requests are reviewed carefully to ensure they remain clinically appropriate and safe. Please note that prescriptions are issued at the doctor’s discretion and may require a review appointment if clinically indicated.

Patients who have previously attended an appointment with Dr Thomas may request a prescription using the form below.

You may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 – Repeat Prescription (No Appointment) – $25

For patients who are stable on their medication and do not require a review.

This option involves the doctor reviewing your file and issuing a repeat prescription if clinically appropriate.

Please note:

  • This is not a consultation

  • This fee is not claimable through Medicare

  • Prescriptions are issued at the psychiatrist’s discretion

  • Requests are processed within 2–5 business days

Option 2 – 15-Minute Telehealth Review (Phone Appointment)

For patients who:

  • Are due for review

  • Have new symptoms or side effects

  • Require dose changes

  • Require authority or Schedule 8 prescriptions

  • Have not been seen within the past 6 months

Standard consultation fees apply. If eligible, Medicare rebates may be claimed.
